Claim Listing?
To claim an existing listing click the claim listing button and let us know the listing is yours. You will have to create an account. You listing claim must be approved so please prove you have the right to this listing. After your claim has been approved you can go into your listing and fill in the additional fields. Any listing that can be claimed is a Free General Listing. You will need to create a New Listing to post a paid general listing.
Create New Listing?
The first thing you must do is "Create Account." Bear in mind, this info IS NOT included in your listing. In fact you don't have a listing until you create one AFTER you create your account. Your account gives us the information we need to contact you about your listing. It is also necessary for the purpose of allowing you to have multiple listings, should you choose to in the future.
Next you must "Log In Now" in order to access your account and create a listing.
After you have logged in to your account select the "My Account" link, you will be able to click the link called "Create Listing"
Next select your type of listing:
- Free Listing - basic contact information and description fields
- Free Job Post
- Paid General Listing - multiple categories, logo, documents, and pictures - Cost = $180 annually
- Paid Missions - includes general listing fields plus specific content fields that relate to missions organizations - Cost = $180
- Paid Camp/Conference Centers - includes general listing fields plus content specific fields related to camps and conference centers = $180
You will first be asked for your listing’s primary classification. This is the category that best fits your listing. Paid listings will later be able to add additional categories up to 10.
Be sure to enter as much information as possible into as many fields as you can. Your friendly URL is a link that goes directly to your listing; for example, http://www.ymclassifieds.com/mylisting. You can use this link to send customers to your listing and as a secondary website.
There are two description fields. The first, Short Description is a 64-character field for information that is included in Internet [WP1]search results and sidebars. The main description field has a label of Description. This is for all of your information—anything you want to say about your organization, product, or service.
The next most important fields are the email and website. Just make sure you enter the full URL. Ex. - http://mywebsite.com
Enter an accurate email if you want visitors to be able to contact you via the email button. Don't worry about SPAMbots getting your email as all messaging is handled through forms and your email address is never displayed on the site, unless you put it in your description field.
Keywords are used to help optimize the search feature. Paid listings can upload their logo to be displayed as a thumbnail and on their listings page.
After you have created your listing, you can click on “Listings” and you will see some buttons next to your listing: Edit, Offers, and Statistics. Documents and images are available for paid listings upload. Use these features to provide online offers, check your listing statistics, and to upload pictures and documents for your customers.
Note: Your listing will go live after you have paid your annual subscription. If you pay via paypal, your listing will post within 1-2 business days. If you mail in your payment, it will post within 1-2 business days from the time your payment was received. If you purchased your listing as a part of a YMToday.com advertising package, your listing will be posted within 1-2 business days of the time your package subscription is paid.
